Dr. Fred Awaah, is an African academic of Ghanaian origin. He is a lecturer in Public Administration, Entrepreneurship Development, Leadership and Global Dimensions to Business at the University of Professional Studies – Accra, Ghana. He is an adjunct researcher with the University of Burundi Doctoral School. Fred has taught in Nigeria, Botswana and Lesotho. His academic footprints within the Africa Higher Education Space has witnessed paper presentations for the African Union, European Union, Association of African Universities, UNESCO, DAAD, Trust Africa, MasterCard Foundation, UNESCO’s Institute of African Culture and International Understanding, the Centre for Human Security and many African governments. He served as a membership of the European Union’s Tuning Africa Policy Advisory Group from 2013-2016 where he represented the All- Africa Students Union; being its Secretary General from 2012 to 2016. Dr. Awaah is also a member of the four nation International Research Consortium contracted by the Government of Nigeria that conducted a students’ needs assessment of the National Open University of Nigeria in 2020. He has since 2020 been a member of the National Association of Researchers in Science Teaching (USA).
